Symbiotic.IO is a GTM expert network operated by Revenue Funnel, a trading name of Growth Mode Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, with registered office in the United Kingdom.

We operate the platform at symbiotic-io.com and its subdomains. For the purposes of UK data protection law, Growth Mode Ltd (trading as Revenue Funnel) is the data controller for personal data processed through this platform.

2. What data we collect

We collect and process the following categories of personal data:

  • Enquiry data: name and corporate email address when you submit an enquiry through the platform.
  • Application data: name, email address, LinkedIn profile URL, professional background, and specialism information when you apply to join the expert network.
  • Expert profile data: professional experience, specialisms, technology expertise, and client background information for verified experts listed on the platform.
  • Usage data: pages visited, search queries, and interaction data collected via Google Analytics 4 and our own analytics infrastructure.
  • Communications data: the content of any messages you send to us via the platform or by email.

3. How we use your data

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Matching and introductions: to connect companies seeking GTM expertise with relevant experts in our network (lawful basis: legitimate interests).
  • Platform operation: to process applications, manage expert profiles, and operate the enquiry and matching system (lawful basis: contract performance).
  • Communications: to send transactional emails related to your enquiry, application, or account (lawful basis: contract performance / legitimate interests).
  • Analytics and improvement: to understand how the platform is used and improve our service (lawful basis: legitimate interests).
  • Legal compliance: to comply with applicable laws and regulations (lawful basis: legal obligation).

4. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your data with:

  • Experts in our network: when you submit an enquiry, limited details (company size, industry, challenge description) are shared with matched experts in a blinded format. Full contact details are only shared with an expert who accepts your enquiry.
  • Service providers: we use third-party services including Resend (email delivery), Stripe (payment processing), and Google Analytics (usage analytics). These providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
  • Revenue Funnel Ltd: as the operating entity, the Revenue Funnel team reviews applications and manages the expert network.

5. Data retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy:

  • Enquiry data is retained for 3 years from the date of submission.
  • Application data is retained for 2 years from the date of application (or for the duration of your expert profile if accepted).
  • Expert profile data is retained for the duration of your participation in the network, plus 1 year after deactivation.
  • Analytics data is retained in accordance with Google Analytics' data retention settings (default 14 months).

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access: to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification: to request correction of inaccurate personal data.
